Eternia

Eternia As suggested by her name, Eternia’s vision is rooted in the theory of perennial Hip Hop, a rare perspective in a day when by some standards, Hip Hop is nearing its end. The 22-year old emcee fell in love with Hip Hop at 8 years of age. Since then, she went from observing the music to embodying it and is adamant about evolving further as an artist. The Ottawa native has traveled across Canada and to various cities in America, including Philadelphia and New York before settling in Toronto, where she studies Journalism at Ryerson. Eternia attributes most of her growth to her experiences in Brooklyn where she first started recording songs with a crew called the DemiGodz. She soon grew accustomed to the stage, opening for an array of artists such Common, D-12 and J-Live. Aggression and intelligence is what Eternia promises to continue exhibiting during her live shows. She adds that it is also an opportunity to speak to the people on a person-to-person level. The near future will see the release of her currently untitled LP, a project entirely produced by MC Collizhun of Tough Dumplin Foundation. Listen for her latest release “Sorrow Song” on the Honey Drops promotional CD.
