Nine Planets Hip Hop, coming out of Ottawa is a camp of young people that have taken their destinies in the industry into their own hands. Instead of falling into the pit falls of an industry developed in a patchwork of pockets and walking the trails blazed by others, they have carved out their own ground for a solid foundation. Having recently released the album for crew member DL Incognito "A Sample and a Drum Machine" is a huge step for Nine Planets. With exceptional production, raw rhyming skills, and a diverse spectrum of topics (from battling to love stories), it is an album that will be remembered. To be their first major performances in Toronto, TUMF will be a chance for DL Incognito and the Nine Planets family to be seen, felt and heard in one of Canada's premiere Hip Hop spots - TUMF.
