Hailing way north of Toronto, Age's development as an artist was affected by factors not faced by most of Toronto's emcee's. Similarly, many of what is common place in the city, was not a part of Age's experience. That, combined with his love for Hip Hop and his determination to express himself through the culture has formed a unique sound that he can call his own. Age blends a very raw energetic approach with creative thought and consciousness. Musically, you can sense a wide range of influences which vary from track to track. With a chance to perform at this years TUMF, Age is primed to showcase what the musical sound that he has developed over years of studying music and collaborating with artists has resulted in. Pushing boundaries in the genre, Age hopes to expose the city to the direction he is heading.
