RAY “RAYON” ROBINSON

Blessed with incredible vocal skills honed in the church, singer/songwriter Ray “Rayon” Robinson is poised to make his mark alongside other gifted soul/R&B singers such as Bilal and Musiq. Rayon co-produces all his music.

Ray’s influences range from Al Green to Donnie Hathaway, Marvin Gaye to Bob Marley. He has honed his musical craft performing as a back up singer for fellow Canadian artists such as Philosopher Kings, Melanie Durrant, and BrassMunk. Rayon was also featured on the track “Hip Hop Queen” with Big Mo back in ’98.

Listen up for his new single “Missed Your Chance,” to hit the airwaves along with a music video soon. The track is produced by rapper/producer Saukrates and Kid Kut of Baby Blue Sound Crew. Big things are expected of this artist both inside the studio and live on stage. He’s currently the object of several A&R representatives eager to add his name to their label roster.
