MR. ROAM
Mr. Roam emerged on the Toronto hip hop scene in the early 90’s with the formation of Groove-A-Lot Records. His first independent release, “Price of Living” was featured on two acclaimed compilations: Sugar Rappin’ and Da Grassroots’ Passage Through Time.
Next Roam blessed Master Mind’s Volume 50: Street Legal with the lead single, “Bump!” The track which also featured Choclair, also garnered heavy rotation on college and commercial radio stations and the video also received video play on Much Music.
Roam’s repertoire includes production, writing and composing. He has worked with Da Grassroots, redLife, Grasshopper, Ghetto Concept and Saukrates. Watch for his upcoming album, titled Mean Food from an artist that is know for his infectious melodies and stripped down bass and drum combinations.
