ETERNIA
One of Canada’s best female MC’s, Eternia first began lip-synching to Maestro’s music when she was only nine years old. Today, the Ryerson journalism student, known to classmates as Silk-Anne Kaya, has caught the eye of A&R reps far and wide with her music video “Sorrow Song” and her fiery live performances.
Eternia is currently working on her debut album for 2003 and continues to carve out a reputation as an artist to watch. She’s determined to continue to explode a long list of stereotypes: a female in a male-dominated world, a white female artist in a black dominated rap industry and a musician and student on the Dean’s List.
Eternia’s two singles “Work It Out” and “Sorrow Song” can be heard on campus radio from Canada to California. In the meantime, her first music video, Sorrow Song has received rotation on Much Music, Much Vibe, MTV Canada, Musique Plus as well as foreign channels in The Czech Republic, Australia and across the U.S.
